Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect a proxied email address from your sign-in provider and the username you choose. Your username is public: it is displayed on the leaderboard and may appear in featured wins on our official social channels (see Featured Wins below).
We also collect gameplay data including the number of moves used to complete the daily puzzle, and standard app usage statistics and device information.
How We Use Your Data
Apart from your public username and the featured wins described below, all collected data is used solely for internal purposes including product planning and service improvement. We do not share your personal information with third parties, except as required to serve advertisements to free-tier players or provide the optional website analytics described below.
Featured Wins
Winning daily-puzzle solutions may be featured on Attrakto’s official social channels (such as YouTube and TikTok), together with the public username that achieved them — for example, “today’s winning solve, by Player123.” Only your public username and the solution itself are ever shown; never your email address or any other account data. If you would rather not be featured, contact us and we will exclude your username from future features.
Advertising
Free-tier players may see advertisements served through Google AdMob. Premium players do not see advertisements. AdMob may use device identifiers in accordance with its own privacy policy. You can opt out of personalised advertising through your device settings.
Data Storage and Security
Your Attrakto account and gameplay data is stored on Microsoft Azure infrastructure, encrypted at rest and in transit. We follow industry best practices to limit access to authorised systems only.
Your Rights
You have the right to request an update to your username or to have your data deleted from our systems. To make either request, contact us through the support form.
Tracking
The Attrakto app does not use cookies or cross-experience tracking mechanisms. Website analytics cookies are optional, as described below.
Website Analytics
With your permission, attrakto.com uses Google Analytics to understand visits, referral sources, device and browser information, and clicks on the App Store and Google Play links. Google processes this website usage data and uses analytics cookies to distinguish visits. Website analytics does not measure completed app downloads.
Google Analytics loads only after you choose Allow analytics. We do not send account identifiers or support-form contents to Google Analytics, and advertising features are disabled. Google processes analytics data on its own infrastructure; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
You can decline analytics and continue using the website. Use Analytics settings in the footer to change your choice or withdraw permission. Withdrawal stops further analytics collection and removes Google Analytics cookies accessible to this website; it does not erase data already collected. We store your preference in your browser for up to six months.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we will notify you via the email alias associated with your account. Continued use of the app after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
